Now, you don’t have to go crazy and make it look like Santa made a u-turn in your front yard since Santa is known for landing with an above the ground approach rather than sliding across the ground thanks to all the engineering that has gone into his sled!

If you leave out cookies for Santa, take a few bites out of each one and leave a little bit of milk behind. It shows that Santa is in a hurry since he has to deliver all the gifts to the little kids throughout the world. If you do leave carrots for the reindeer, take these outside and crumble them in some spots, since the reindeer would not have been in your home to eat these.
Some parents have even made it look like Santa brought in a ton of magical glitter, as they put this around the tree. After all, we all know that when Santa pulls out his bag that there is glitter on it from all the presents, it does make sense that some of this glitter would fall into the floor! Of course, if you hate cleaning up glitter, you may want to rethink doing this one.

Then move these to the side and place a note from Santa about how the toys need to go up because he almost fell and hurt himself.
